Prep Time: 30min500 g spaghetti noodles
4 tbsp cooking oil
4 cloves garlic, minced finely
2 pcs medium onions, chopped finely
500 g ground beef
2 pcs red bell peppers, cored, seeded, and chopped finely
1 pc carrot, chopped finely
1 pc bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 1/2 cups water
3 pcs jumbo hotdogs, sliced diagonally into rings
1 (825-g) pouch sweet-style spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise
grated cheese
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Heat a pan and add cooking oil. Sauté garlic and onions, then add ground beef. Cook over high heat until meat is no longer pink.
Lower heat, then add bell peppers, carrots, and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour water into the pan and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the mixture is almost dry and the vegetables are tender.
Turn up the heat and add hotdogs. Stir for 1 minute. Add spaghetti sauce and bring to a boil. Adjust seasonings to taste. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
Add Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise. Stir well until the spaghetti sauce becomes creamy and the color turns lighter.
Transfer cooked spaghetti to a plate and pour the sauce on top. Garnish with grated cheese.
